Proper Battery Recycling
Recycling at the FMC Landfill

Triple Rinse Containers
This is our Plastic Triple Rinse Container recycling area. We are permitted to accept these plastic containers. The containers are picked up and recycled by a company called Rural Recycling out of southern Iowa. Most if not all of these containers were once used for farm chemicals. We actually have a policy in place so that these containers are recycled rather than landfilled. The containers must be triple rinsed, the handles need to be looped with rope to keep them together, lids and labels off. Also if there are larger containers, they need to be cut down into smaller sections.
This company has one rear packer that they use to haul these jugs in and this helps the driver immensely, when loading them.
